4^th Printing

The fourth printing is easily recognizable as all candidates will have the date "1868". This printing is found only with un real and dos reales stamps. In the later stages of the 4th printing, stamps were printed on laid paper, which it is believed to be the only printing with true "laid" paper (laid batonné does not appear to be laid paper at all).  Laid lines are found both vertically and horizontally although alignment is not always perfectly square.
